My feelings are hurt.

Or maybe my ego is just bruised.
All I know is something I thought I had has been gradually taken from me and given to someone else. You think you know where you stand or how you are valued but … I guess some people have the philosophy friendship smiendship, whereas I see friendship as being a ship, for friends, or something ridiculously sappy.

The story of bee paw.

A few nights ago, my little dog Mungo was running around outside, around the time we were intending to head off to bed. I called for him to come inside. He usually acts cheeky and stays out there until I put some shoes on and come out to get him, but this time he flew through the door.

He sat in front of me, favouring his paw and shaking, then ran off toward the bedroom.

I ran after him and found him sitting on the bed, alternating between mournfully looking at me and shaking his paw.

Suddenly, I heard a buzzing.

I grabbed a tissue and grabbed his paw, only to find that a bee had lodged itself in between his foot pads. I grabbed it out, accidentally crushing it in the process.

It seems like it didn’t sting him, so apart from the bee, everyone had a happy ending.

No joke, I’ve always wanted a little black fluffy dog called Mungo.

I was so ridiculous in that movie - sitting there, in 3D glasses, bawling my eyes out, mascara cascading down my face. Jesus christ. Pixar kills me. Jessica and I saw it the day after our Pa’s funeral, it was a bad idea. We were such messes.
